It’s Back To School season, so to honor this time of year I have a simple craft to bring a little hint of colour and personality to any dull dorm room. These fabric pinboards are perfect to jazz up any workroom, bedroom or office, and by using any fabric you like, these boards are fully customisable to suit your interiors. Without futher ado, let’s begin.

What do I need?

  • Assorted fabrics. I would recommend medium weight cotton- Quilting fabrics are ideal
  • Circluar Cork Boards. I purchased a pack of 3 in the kitchen section at IKEA for £2
  • Thumb Tacks
  • Fabric Scissors

How do I make it?

Pinboard-Blog-(6)1. Place the board on the reverse of the fabric and cut around leaving 5 cm

Pinboard-Blog-(5)2. Use the Thumb Tacks to pin the fabric to the board pulling it tight to create a smooth surface.

3. Finished! Time to hang the up and enjoy.
